Kids will keep you on your toes...

Last Friday A had a friend come home with her from school..When we first got home L was sleeping, so I told the girls they would have to play inside until he got up.. We live in a safe neighborhood but I am not one to let my kids go outside and play while I am inside. So the girls were playing and all at once A came to me and said

A: "mom can we go out to play now"?

me: no A you can not go out now..

A: Mom we are in first grade now. We will be fine..
I forgot that once you are in first grade then you can do anything.....

me: No you are not going out now!

A: But, Mom Jesus is always with us...............

Well said what more explanation did I need... Yes, He is with you but you are not going out now.

Wow, how kids can think on there toes.

Random Stuff

Sometimes I feel like life is so busy!! I feel like I can not get organized , my house is a mess , my husband works all the time, and my kids wear me out by 8:00, etc............ The list keeps going and going!


I am amazed at the Homework that my 1st grade daughter has every night! Yes I did say 1st grade! she has spelling words, reads two books a night and gets ready for a spelling test on Friday wow. I know that I played in 1st grade !! But she is doing well with all of this! WE are so proud of her! She is a blessing and is full of life! I love her personality...... She sees good in everybody! Wow, I wished I could do that! Right now I am trying to teach her to make sure she is a friend to everybody and most of all that she has a friend that is always with her and his Name is Jesus! Every morning before she gets out of the car at school we pray for her as she starts her day. And I will always add in there " Lord Help A know that you are always here for her, even when she feels alone let her know that you are there!!! I think that is so hard sometimes for us to take a hold of. When we feel alone the Lord is with us!!! When we feel like we have no one he is there! What better comfort then to know the King of Kings is with us!!!

I have so much to be THANKFUL for! I have been blessed with two beautiful kids, a great husband , family and friends! Our life is busy! And yes sometimes we get stressed but I don't want to forget my blessings! Here are a few of mine.
