My 2010 Blessing

My 2010 Blessing!!

I have had many blessing in 2010. Just like ever year the Lord gives us countless blessings! He is always so good to us! I could list all the blessings I have gotten through out the year but I don't think I would have the time or the space to list them all. So I am going to share with you the biggest blessing that we have received this year.


My sweet little A ask Jesus into her heart. What better Christmas gift to receive.
In the bible it talks of having child like faith. And A showed a true picture of that.... She has been dealing with this since the summer. One day she was home with David while I was gone somewhere. David said he was in the kitchen and she was back in her room when all at once she came to him and said Daddy "i ask Jesus into my heart". We did not want to push the issue. Because we have always prayed that she would fully understand when the time would come. David ask a few questions and left it at that. Because we did not want to push or confuse her in anyway. So months have gone by and once again I was not at home.. I think the Lord was moving me out of the way for some reason... It was just David and A at home. And they get into a conversation about A wanting a real horse. David explained the fact that we did not have the place or the money to get a horse. So A replies back to David and said " Will I have a horse in heaven." David goes into telling her about children of the Lord will ride back on white horses. One thing lead to another. So David has his bible out at this point going over things with her. He tells her that those who call all the Lords name and Believe then they shall be saved. She looks and David and said Dad that is so easy.. That is what I did in my room back in the summer time. She said " I ask him to come in my heart and save me". She also said I believe in him Daddy.. David said all at once he felt the Lord saying. It is child like faith. And we make it so hard!!! So now A has a new name David has always called her "sissy" . She looked at Him and said don't call me that call me "Christ Child".

So If you ask I have received a BIG blessing in 2010!!! We make it so hard while the Lord makes it so easy for us..

CHRISTMAS!

Christmas is the air! It is only Dec. 2nd but I am already feeling the need to rush. I feel that Christmas will be here tomorrow! I still have to do Christmas cards. I am however doing good on my shopping. I am amazed at how time flies.. I love watching my kids at Christmas. They bring joy to my heart. A wants one of everything she sees on TV and L wants a gun, a train and a tractor. That is his Christmas list. An all American boy list. Every time you ask him what he wants he is consistent with his list... I will remind him of that when he is 16.

The Day before Thanksgiving I put my trees up... I love it when all the decorations are up!!!

And then there is a tree in my kids room.. A's tree has blinking lights which I do not like but David put them in for her. The other night we left the tree on and we went to church.. I had two neighbors think that my house was on fire because of the blinking lights.....She loves them!!!!!!

And we could not leave L out... He had to have a tree. He loves it. His hero Justin gave it to him and that makes it ever more special! Justin is my 19 year old Nephew. He thinks Justin is WONDERFUL! But I keep telling my self that he is only 2... He does not know any better yet.. Ha, ha..

And yes I do have a tree down stairs that has colored lights on it... I have not crossed over to that side yet. My big tree will always have white lights........
